The Haryana government has periodically launched several welfare schemes for its citizens, aimed at providing economic and social support to vulnerable sections of society. One such scheme is the “Haryana Happy Card Scheme,” also known as the Haryana Antyodaya Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY). This scheme is specifically designed for families with financial constraints and limited annual income. Under this scheme, 1,000 kilometers of free travel is provided on Haryana Roadways buses.

Public Health Engineering Minister Dr. Banwari Lal stated that the Haryana government is committed to the welfare and upliftment of Antyodaya families. Over the nearly nine and a half years of its tenure, the government has implemented numerous schemes to integrate Antyodaya families into the mainstream society, benefiting them in the process. In this series, the Haryana government has introduced a beneficial scheme for Antyodaya families called the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana (HAPPY). With the implementation of this scheme, Antyodaya families in Haryana will benefit from free travel on Haryana State Transport buses. He mentioned that through this scheme, the Haryana government is providing the facility of free travel in Haryana Roadways buses to Antyodaya families
Benefit of Happy Card : –
If you want to get a Haryana Happy Card, then it is very important for you to be a resident of the state of Haryana and along with this, it is also very important to know about the benefits you will get by getting the card:
1.Under this card or scheme, you will get a chance to travel for free. You will not need to pay a single rupee in return and you will be able to travel by roadways for free.
2.The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the native residents of Haryana state.
3. If you want to avail the benefit under this scheme, then your family’s annual income should be less than Rs 1.80 lakh, only then you will be provided the benefit.
Eligibility : –
- The beneficiary must be a resident of Haryana.
- The beneficiary must belong to an Antyodaya family.
- The beneficiary must have a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP).
- The family’s annual income must be less than ₹1 lakh.
- Must be a native of Haryana.
- Must have a BPL card.

If it has been 15 days since you applied for your Happy Card, you will receive a Happy Card message on your registered mobile number. This message will provide information about your Happy Card status, including whether your Happy Card has been generated or not. If you haven’t received a message after 15 days, or if you have received a message on your mobile phone, you will need to visit the bus depot with the required documents you selected in your application.
Can We Download Happy Card ?
If you are looking for an online method to download your Happy Card, please note that there is currently no such facility available for online downloading. After 15 days of applying for your Happy Card, you will need to visit the bus depot with the required documents to receive your card. All documents will be verified there, followed by your mobile OTP verification. The Happy Card will then be provided.
